On Saturday, 23 September, 70 registered riders participated in the ‘Go For Broke’ 180-km bike ride, from Berowra at the north end of our Harbour to Hawkesbury area to Broke in The Hunter Valley.
Ride to Beat Depression
– that’s the slogan of this wonderful initiative aimed at raising awareness of Mental Health and funds for Lifeline.
Here – in the photo above – is our CEO Wendy Carver gratefully accepting from Go For Broke Initiative Founder, Ed Kirk, the more than $38,000 raised for Lifeline H2H by the event’s hard-pedalling riders.
Thank You Go For Broke!
A big thank you to Ed, to the Go For Broke team and to all who participated in, volunteered for, and sponsored riders in, the event.
