In the last month Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury has added a further two training programs – ‘Mental Health Awareness For Industry’ and ‘Domestic Violence Awareness For Corporates’ – to the range of corporate training modules and services it offers.
“Lifeline H2H is absolutely committed to meeting the needs of local organisations for Mental Health Awareness training solutions,” comments Corporate Training Manager Cutty Felton (pictured), “and these two recent additions to our list of training offerings are emblematic of how we are expanding this important area of Lifeline H2H’s activities.”

However, Ms. Felton is quick to point out that these should be seen more as examples of what the Lifeline H2H Training team can provide, than as a hard and fast ‘fixed menu’ of options. “We encourage organisations to come and talk to us, without obligation, to discuss their individual experiences of Mental Health workplace issues, so that we can tailor training solutions that exactly match their present needs,” she explains.
Lifeline H2H has a large amount of experience – almost certainly unequalled in the geographical area it covers – in the provision of Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Suicide and Crisis Support training to individuals and organisations, and in the provision of counselling, support group, psycho-educational training courses and other kinds of clinical services to individuals, couples and groups.

Another important facet of the service that Lifeline H2H provides is its ability to engage with, and provide skills-based training for, every level of staff and management within every kind and size of organisation. “It’s not uncommon to find that the greatest needs are at Middle Management level”, comments Cutty Felton. “Line managers often expend considerable time and energy providing support to their subordinates. But who supports them?
