Reminder: New ‘Being Mums’ Group Starts Friday 20 October, Mona Vale

A new Mona Vale located Being Mums psychological treatment group is starting this Friday, October 20. There is no cost to attend the group but you will require a referral from your GP to attend.

About the Group

Being Mums is a group for mothers, with babies up to 1 year old, who are feeling stressed at times and finding it hard to cope.

The group creates space for mothers to reflect on their journey of motherhood, to share experiences and develop new skills and resources, and to make new friends.

Topics covered include adjusting to parenting and expectations, improving relationships, and using mindfulness skills to better manage stress, emotions and unhelpful thinking styles.

Dates, Time & Venue

Venue:  the Mona Vale Memorial Hall, 1 Park Street, Mona Vale, Fridays 10:30–12:30 for eight weeks starting October 20.
