FREE domestic violence response training – 29-30 November, Gordon

DV-alert is a national recognised training program designed specifically to meet the needs of all frontline community/public sector workers or volunteers, including teachers, school counselors, GPs and psychologists, nurses, youth workers, church ministers and chaplains, aged care and welfare workers, pastoral carers, and disability services workers.

The program enables participants to confidently:

Recognise signs of domestic and family violence (DFV)

Respond with appropriate care

And Refer people who are experiencing, or at risk of, domestic and family violence to appropriate support services

DV-alert is funded by the Department of Social Services. The program provides initial DFV response training and is not recommended for participants seeking specialist DFV skills training.
