About ‘Being Mums’
About ‘Being Mums’

‘Being Mums’ is a group for mothers with babies, (up to 1 year old), who are feeling stressed at times and finding it hard to cope.

Great Feedback

“We’ve had great feedback from last year’s groups,” comments Lifeline H2H PHN Group Services Coordinator Gillian Fox. “Our group members tell us that they find it really helpful to meet with other mums who are experiencing similar issues.”

Experiencing coping issues? You’ll no longer be alone.

Explains Gillian, “If you are a mum with a new baby and you’re finding it hard to cope, it can be helpful to meet other mums who are in a similar situation. At ‘Being Mums’, you certainly won’t be alone. You’ll be mixing with other mums who are experiencing very similar things to you, in a comfortable setting.”

Referral necessary

Interested mums should talk with their doctor, or early child health centre, as admission to the groups is by referral from a GP. (It might be helpful to print out and take along this streamlined referral form).
