Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury cordially invites you to play in our soon to be annual Charity Golf Day. It will be an enjoyable day of golf, raffles and auctions, award presentations, and a guaranteed great social vibe ideal for networking. Best of all, it’s all for mental health – supporting the amazing work Lifeline does in the community.
This year, the Lifeline Golf Day is about bringing people together again. Since the advent of COVID in Australia, Lifeline has received record rates of calls in its 57-year history. Help seekers reached out to Lifeline for support with issues relating to everything from anxiety, depression, isolation and loneliness to unemployment, financial hardship, relationship pressures, grief and mental illness. Just as Lifeline was having to meet greater community need on the frontlines of the pandemic, it was having to cancel all the events it normally engages in to raise vital funds for the crisis support and suicide prevention services it offers. For this reason, we are particularly thrilled to be able to hold our inaugural Lifeline Golf Day at Pennant Hills Golf Club on Tuesday, 1 June 2021.
Our target at this event is to raise $50,000. For Lifeline, that’s vital dollars we’re putting towards assisting those in crisis. Unfortunately, the reality is that every 30 seconds, someone reaches out to Lifeline for help. Lifeline exists so that no person in Australia ever has to face their darkest moments alone.
We rely on our donors and partners to help keep our phone lines running so that Lifeline can be there for everyone in our community. We hope you can join us.
