The Emergency Relief Service provides immediate support for people who are in financial crisis, including food parcels, food and petrol vouchers, clothing, information and referral.

During an appointment staff will discuss immediate support that could help (fore example: food vouchers or part-payment of bills), while also focusing on long-term outcomes, such as increased financial independence, community connection, and improved health and wellbeing.

Food parcels can be picked up on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.  Appointments are by phone on Friday afternoons.

There are limits around the number of times service can be accessed to ensure a maximum amount of people can be supported equitably.

Emergency Relief is for people who live in the Northern Sydney and Hornsby region.

This is a no fee service.
