Community Aid Administrator

Location:  Lifeline H2H office, Wade Lane, Gordon
Part-time: Thursday & Friday, 9am–2pm

The Community Aid Administrator is a part-time paid role responsible for the provision of Social Support - Individual Services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). This is a job share role. 

About the Role 

Community Aid is a service that provides assistance for people aged 65 years or older. The service supports older people so that they can remain living independently e.g. by helping with shopping or transport.

The Community Aid Administrator will co-ordinate this service by taking service request from clients and organising volunteers to complete the job.

As supporting clients and working with volunteers is involved, this role will suit someone highly personable and empathetic.

About You

  • Strong time management and scheduling skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication. 
  • Microsoft Office Suite and database experience essential. 
  • Knowledge/experience in aged care sector and/or related services is highly regarded.

About the Organisation

Lifeline H2H exists to support Australians in times of crisis and equip individuals and communities to be resilient and suicide safe. Since 1996 Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury has grown from a telephone counselling service to a centre providing a wide range of crisis support and suicide prevention services as well as face-to-face counselling services and programs. Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury at Gordon is managed by a small number of dedicated staff and around 700 variously-skilled volunteers.
