Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury’s book fairs are run entirely by volunteers. Our book depots in Hornsby and Lindfield, coordinated by committees, run seven events a year. Our centre is indebted to these two outstanding groups of volunteers, and their leaders, and to the generosity of the public who donate books.
For more than 25 years, Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury has been putting on its unique brand of bargain-filled, family friendly book fairs at locations all over Sydney’s north shore.
Our book fairs have gained a reputation for their unique combination of high-quality books, amazing low prices, and warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Moreover, they are an important way in which Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury connects with the local communities that it serves, while raising vital funding for its wide range of suicide prevention and crisis support services.
